Perimeter Checklist: Command Post Set Up and Positioning Verify what crime(s) the suspect(s) will be booked for Detailed suspect description / priors / weapon used / photo Can a victim or officer identify the suspect if located Verify Perimeter is Contained Consider taking the incident to a Tac Channel (Tac 2) Consider staging Fire/EMS Identify last known location where suspect was seen Request Air Support to be on scene when search initiates Attempt to find a responsible party for a building if one is to be searched. Press Staging Area / PIO Intelligence on suspect, location and vehicles (children, elderly, pets, surveillance cameras, fortifications?)
